Hacienda San José del Carmen el Huique
Houses of the hacienda San José del Carmen el Huique is part of the Tentative list of Chile in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
The Houses of the hacienda San José del Carmen el Huique show the rural agricultural life centered around a self-sufficient landowners’ estate from the 17th century. In the 19th century Echenique family added houses for farmworkers and a neoclassical church. At present the site is a museum.
